Hello, Teaching Friends!
Phonemic awareness is a critical foundation to reading success. Clapping syllables is one aspect of beginning to learn to read before using text.
Here's a set of 24 picture/word cards along with mats for sorting by syllables. These cards would also be useful for alphabetizing, or as a reference in a writing center. Hope you and your students enjoy using them!
Click here or on the cover to download from Google Drive.
Is that little gardener cute or what? :)
Happy Teaching!
