With so many teaching resources available to teachers through blogs, it seems like trips to the "teacher store" are getting less and less frequent. In fact, brick-and-mortar teacher stores are becoming harder to find! Nonetheless, there are still some resources that are just easier to buy than to print or make.
That's one reason why I was so please when I was approached by MPM School Supplies with an offer to test out their products and services. Here's what I got... all for less than $25! Number chart, states and capitals cards, three-corner addition/subtraction fact cards, construction paper, and a very cool inflatable globe (ooh, the possibilities! My mind reels!)
As you see, they carry some of the major lines, like Trend, Carson-Dellosa, Teacher Created Resources, and Scholastic, plus many more, all discounted! I've always loved the smoother texture and great colors of Tru-Ray construction paper, and look forward to using the three-corner fact cards and other items.
But in my mind what truly distinguished the shopping at MPM was the focus on making shopping easier and faster. Their search engine is so much simpler and quicker than most of the ones I've dealt with for online shopping. And the customer service is top-notch. My order arrived quickly and in great condition - the hundreds chart was shipped flat, not rolled! The order included a letter from the Tristro Team (parent company) expressing appreciation for business, but also asking for a call if I wasn't satisfied: "We'd love to know why so we can make it right." Nice personal touch! I did have one small question, and when I called, I got a person (a very polite and helpful one!) instead of "Push 1 if you want..., push 2 if you want..., etc.) Yay!!
Are you ready to give MPM a try? If so, here's a little treat from them for you! The first ten customers who use this link to place their order will get 10% off their already discounted prices! Have fun!
